Borets took part in the exhibition OGWA 2012
In April, 2012 Borets tool part in the West-Asian oil and gas exhibition OGWA 2012, that took place in the capital of Oman, Masqat. The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Oil and Gas, the main state oil company Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and other important oil companies of Oman. This exhibition takes place twice in a year and is the hugest event in the oil and gas industry on the Middle East.
In 2012 more than 120 companies took part in the exhibition. Among them there were international oil and gas companies, service companies and the suppliers of the oil and gas equipment who are doing business in the Persian Gulf countries. Oman is within the interest of all the oil extraction equipment manufacturers. Such companies as Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, and PCM are operating in this country, performing the supply and servicing of ESP and ESPCP. The Borets Company has been successfully operating in the Oman’s market since 2006 and has a contract with the oil company Daleel Petroleum for servicing of 65 ESP wells.
Borets on the exhibition OWGA 2012 was represented by quite a large delegationfrom different countries and departments: Mr. R. Ponomarev is the CEO Borets International FZE; P. Slobodenuk – Deputy CEO Borets International FZE; K. Makki - area manager in Oman; K. Muromtsev – lead equipment operational engineer in Oman; R. Abdelasis - area manager in Egypt; K. Gorshenin – lead specialist of the technical analytics Department, LLC Borets; E. Chugunkova- the main specialist of Marketing Department, LLC Borets.
The stand of Borets on the exhibition was located in the same building with the leading oil companies of Oman and the main manufactures of the oil production equipment. Our company has presented new developments (permanent magnet motor, gas handler, packet assembly pumps, universal switchboards, submersible telemetric system, gas handlers, etc.) together with the standard equipment. The special attention from the visitors of the exhibition was drawn to the equipment for the extraction of the high-viscosity oil, high-temperature motors, equipment for the operation in the conditions of high scale, H2S or solids, gassy environment.
During the exhibition the meetings and negotiations about the prospective ways of the collaboration with such Oman companies as PDO, Oxy, Daleel Petroleum, Petrogas, CC Energy, etc. were held. The negotiations with PDO led to the agreement about the field tests of the two Borets ESPCP-PMM units.
